I'm a retired educator and published author who has owned several successful businesses. I've been a cross country trucker, an antiques dealer, a real estate agent, a college admissions rep, an administrative assistant, an employment agent, a movie extra and currently own a jewelry business.

I graduated from business school prior to attending college.  I have a BA with majors in Spanish and English and a minor in French.  I have an MA in teaching with a minor in Spanish.

I hold teaching certificates in 6 states and have taught in 5 of them.  I have taught every subject from grades 6 -12, have taught the blind, have taught ESOL and spent 5 years teaching in dropout prevention programs.

I am a lifelong RVer and have traveled extensively with my husband.  I have lived in  PA, CA, TN, NY and currently reside in Florida.  I write articles of different types and have been honored to be the recipient of three hubnuggets awards.

I love writing for this site, even though I don't get tons of page views.  It's a great hobby and a wonderful place to meet nice people and learn new things.
